#asktheexpert .. my baby is premature.. he can't walk independently..

A. Generally a full-time child is expected to walk independently between the age of 12 to 17 months and with a premature child maybe you can take a month or two extra depending upon how much premature your child is but you can wait till the time of 19 months for your child to learn to walk independently in between hold hands of your child to encourage your child to learn to work independently
