#AskTheExpert my daughter is 8 month old from last 1 month wax is coming in her ears please advice before that she is absolutely ok

A. you have to clean the ears of the child only externally with cotton cloth. do not use anything like earbuds to clean the internal ear. this will only do more harm as wax will get impacted inside deep and will cause more problem. if you feel that the child is having some problems in the internal ear then kindly meet your dodctor for examination. if the child is having wax problem and not improving with drops you have to get it removed with the help of your ent doctor. if there is pdain you can give paracetamol to the child for pain

A. good morning some children have more wax producing tendency than other children it does not mean there is anything for you about just show to the doctor so that it can be properly cleaned out
