#AskTheExpert my daughter is 7.5 years old having 101 fever from yesterday i am giving crocin toh her 5 ml 2 times her fever id increasing 103 what to do she is having bady ache and throt pain

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. anded you can also do cold sponging of the body if required

shilpi BhandariMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello mum first of all fever is very high so you need to give some strong dose like meftal-p to the child or you can even give ibugesic plus moreover dose as per the age of the child is very less you should give minimum 2 ml of Paracetamol to the child its better that you should consult with your doctor because sometimes even antibiotic is needed
