#asktheexpert My daughter is 45 days old... Her BCG vaccination site getting increased in size..will it be a concern ? she doesn't feel any pain over there

bcg vaccination which is given at birth in the upper arm will form a swelling by one or maximum two months and then it will burst open and then pus will come out from it and after that it will become a scar mark.n
you have to take medical consultation if it days causing pain fever and discomfort to the child.
also if the pus discharge is increasing or aggravating again you have to meet the doctor and locally you can apply t bact cream.

It is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly. You can also book online doctor’s appointment on FirstCry where the doctor can help you and guide you properly
