Q.

#AskTheExpert My daughter is 4 months old. she is on mixed feed because I did not produce enough milk. is it possible to shift completely to breast feed now that I find my daughter keen on breast feeding. but my mother-in-law insists that I keep giving top up as she says my daughter remains hungry even after breast feed after looking at her tummy. also, should I give her water as she is on mixed feed?

A. hi please don't give water. mam, please provide more and more breastfeeds which help to increase your breastmilk supply too make sure her urine output should be 6 or 7 times in a day because a good urine output Indicates that your child is getting enough milk
