Q.

#AskTheExpert my daughter is 3yr 8mnth old her weight is 15kg.Although she dont eat peoperly she dont eat vegetables but she is very active. is she is underweight?

A. she is not underweight. Serve vegetables alongside foods that your child is familiar and comfortable with will make him eat. involve your child in making prices of vegetables.. or even plant some veggies in home kitchen.. of possible. Mix veggies into favorite meals of your kid.

A. Her weight seems to be fine. Low appetite can be due to reasons like low zinc levels or too much dairy products or less gap between meals etc. Include ajwain , ginger, lemon or carrot juice, coconut water, curd with mint in the kid's meals to boost the appetite. South Indian rasam will also increase the appetite.
