#AskTheExpert my daughter is 3 month old...she is weight 4.5kg its correct weight or not

A. The weight gain will depend upon the birthweight. In the first 15 days the baby will lose around 10% of the body weight and will start gaining 30 g per day. Ideally by five months of age the baby should double the birthweightWrite Your Answer Here

A. hello your baby being 3 months old the present weight looks to be fine and absolutely nothing to worry.. please note that if the baby is gaining a minimum of 600 grams to 800 grams per month then it is a good weight gain and indicates baby is getting sufficient breast milk
