Q.

#AskTheExpert My daughter is 20 months old. She has the habit of sucking her fingers only during her sleep since her 2nd month. we haven't tonsured her head since birth and coz of some our traditional customs we could do it only after her 2nd Birthday. So the hair has grown long so that when she s sleepy she takes some of her hair and along with the hair she sucks her fingers.. coz of this sometimes she vomits as the hair goes inside the mouth.. I couldn't find any solution for this .. please suggest me some ideas to get over this..

A. it is the way babies pacifier themselves it can sometimes be due to irritation and swelling in the Gums when babies are getting their teeth so don't worry about sucking
