#asktheexpert my daughter is 2-1/4 months shes passing gases continuously at times she starts crying after she pass gas we are giving her collicad dose please guide in this situation

Gas related problem is very common in small babies because of many factor including immaturity of the gut . other factors include cow's milkhj introduction before 1 year of age , bottle feeding, not giving proper burping after each feed. Digestive enzymes like aglozyme drops can be givehn as suggested by doctor in proper dose for reliving of such symptoms .

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hi dear It is normal to pass gas from 6 to 20 times a day. Excess gas usually is not caused by a serious health problem. Gas and bloating usually are caused by something your child eats or drinks, including some natural health products and medicines.
