#asktheexpert my daughter is 13 months old and her first tooth is not visible till now

A. it is ok as some kids get their teeth a little late you can wait till the age of 18 months for the first tooth to erupt in your baby's mouth . .

A. Usually teething starts around six months. But there can be early teethers as well as late teethers. Some start teething at three months and some babies start teething only after a year. Teething can also be impacted by hereditary reasons. If father or mother were late teethers then so could be the baby too. So u can wait and see or if u r worried u may consult with a Pediatric Dentist.
