#asktheexpert my daughter is 122 days old and weighs 4.900kg is she underweight? she is exclusively on breastfeeding but drinks only for 10 minutes what to do?

Author of questionGuardian of a 1 yr 4 m old girl1 Year agoA. baby birth weight was 2.820 kg and is now 122 days old weighing 4.900 kg exclusively on breastfeed people around me are saying baby is weighing less. she is peeing properly and sleeping properly but others saying may be milk is less and need to feed more. but baby is drinking only for 10 minutes

Sunita MahatoMom of 3 children1 Year agoA. baby hs good wt at 4 to 6 mnths baby should be double birth wt and at 1 yr should be 3 times the birth wt it is exclusively breast feed recommended fr 6 mnths.. if baby pee count is 6 to 8 times and baby sleep well then baby is getting sufficient amt of milk
