Q.

#AskTheExpert my daughter has only had one immunization vaccine..the first one,she is three months now,she has missed 2 vaccines in between because i was sick couldn't take her for the immunization ..if i take her to get vaccinated now..which vaccine is she going to get?is it one she is supposed to get at 3 months or all of them?and is she in any kind of danger?please help?

A. Vaccination needs to be given to child only when the present covid situation becomes favourable and under full safety precautions.if there is any delay it will not have any adverse effect but mandatory vaccinations specially under one year of age should be on the priority list followed by optional vaccine later on .due to strict pandemic situation,in such condition most important vaccination should be given on priority which your doctor.nc will decide. Influenza vaccine should be given to children above 6 months of age in this season if not given to avoid unnecessary hospitalisation and other risk factors because of flu infection.it is repeated after one year as a booster dose.
