#AskTheExpert my daughter has a having nasal congestion from last 1.5 months… tried everything thing allopathy homeopathic ayurveda even home remedies but she is not getting any relief. As per doctor adenoids is there. Any suggestions she is 3.5 years old

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frejoquently .

warm salt water gargling is best
so please do it on regular basis.
give luke warm to drink it too
avoid giving too spicy,cold and sugary food items
give Sunbath for 20 minutes a day
