#AskTheExpert my daughter get too much hiccups, what should I do to overcome it?

A. burping will help it is very common under 6 months of age bcz of gas in stomach  Exclusive breast feed ur baby till 6months of age.  Feed ur baby with proper position.   Burp properly after each and every feed for at least 10 min or till baby take 4 burp.   Give Tummy time 4-5 times in a day time  it will work

A. for hiccups.. keep the baby in an upright position and gently massage the baby back.. you can give small feeds.. Hiccups are common in babies and will stop on their own in some time
