#AskTheExpert my daughter 5 months old, and she had a hair fall like the most of the hair dropped. can I take my baby for checkup or any other ways.may I know the reason when it will grow back ?

A. Newborn hair loss is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. Babies often lose their hair during the first six months. This kind of hair loss is called telogen effluvium. Here's why it happens: Hair has a growth stage and a resting stage.
