#asktheexpert my daughter 5.5 year old , yesterday drank whole bottle of woodwards is it gonna be any issue. She went for normal motion morning but I somewhere feel not good

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy12 months agoA. it is not advisable to give gripe water to the child on the regular basis because at the end it is a type of medicine which will help in decreasing the colic pain and improve digestion but yes it has got side effectxs so do not give this without medical consultation.
it contains sodium bicarbonate as well as plenty of sugars which has got side effects for such a small child.
