Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dosejh of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. Temperature more than 99 ° f is fever . It should be checked 2 to 3 times . Paracetamol can be given 3 to 4 times for fever . It may be due to any infection or seasonal variation .
