set a positive example for your child, by having all healthy foods. create a conducive environment for building healthy eating habits.
offer choice between two fruits any one of which you may want him to try.
yourself eat the fruit that you want him to try and explain its texture, flavour to the kid and ask whether he would like to give it a try
don't be pushy but be gently encouraging

Oh yes a lot of kids do not like to have fruit so what you can try doing over here is to give fruit milkshakes and smoothies to the child that’s actually one good way to incorporate fruits into the diet of your child and they are healthy also to be given this way
