Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. The baby is suffering from mild symptoms of cold and there is any associated sound coming while feeding or while sleeping it should be taken care of by following measures like nasal blockage can be relieved by using nasal saline drops which are safe even if used multiple times in the nose followed by nasal aspirator to take out the secretions very gently .
steam inhalation will also be greatly helpful in this case.
if gsthere are any conducted nsounds or wheezing and the baby is not able to feed then you need to take an opinion from your pediatrician ,if any further treatment is required for this.
Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear It is common for babies aged under 6 months to have a blocked nose (commonly called 'snuffles'). It is usually due to normal mucus that collects in the nose, which is difficult for the baby to clear. No treatment is required if the baby is otherwise well and feeding well
