#AskTheExpert my breastmilk supply is low from beginning so from hospital itself he was given pre nan, as his birth weight was 2.56. now he is one month old and still on pre nan top feed and breast milk. shall I switch to nan pro or something as he is 1month now or need to continue pre nan

A. Hi mommy You can continue same nan pro formula milk if possible give breast milk only The more u feed the more milk secretion will be there Have shatavari tablet with warm milk twice a day to increase bm Take care Make sure you’re comfortable and well supported with pillows Newborns need to be fed 8-12 times every 24 hours. Once you’ve got the hang of it, most feeds take 20 minutes or so. But in the early days and weeks, they might take up to an hour. As your baby grows, the time baby takes to feed will reduce. And for most babies, the number of feeds will reduce too
