A. Toddlers grow at a slow pace when compared to infants. Give weight increasing foods like whole cow's milk and milk products like ghee in small amounts, curd, butter, cheese and home made paneer. Give fruit milkshakes fruit smoothies and add dry fruits powder to them. Give banana, pear, avocado, pineapple, papaya and mango. Give plain nuts to eat like walnuts, cashew nuts, almonds, raisins and peanuts. Give cheese sandwiches and peanut butter sandwiches. Give chickpeas and green peas. Give lentils like moong Dal and urad Dal. Give brown rice and ragi. Give one boiled egg per day.
