A. If your 2-year-3-month-old boy has loose motions since yesterday, follow these steps to manage it: 1. Keep Him Hydrated ✅ Give ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) – 50-100 ml after each loose motion to prevent dehydration. ✅ Fluids – Coconut water, rice water, buttermilk, or plain water in small sips. ✅ Continue Breastfeeding/Formula – If still on milk, continue feeding as usual. 2. Safe Foods for Loose Motion ✅ BRAT Diet – Banana, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast help firm stools. ✅ Curd/Yogurt – Restores gut bacteria and helps digestion. ✅ Dal Khichdi & Moong Dal Soup – Gentle on the stomach and nutritious. ✅ Mashed Potato or Carrot Soup – Helps bind stool. 3. Foods to Avoid ❌ Avoid juices, sweets, milk (except curd), fried & spicy foods. 4. Watch for Warning Signs (Consult a Doctor If:) ⚠️ Loose motions continue for more than 3 days ⚠️ Signs of dehydration – Dry lips, less urine, sunken eyes ⚠️ Baby is extremely weak or drowsy ⚠️ Fever above 102°F or blood in stools If needed, I can suggest baby-safe medicines, but let me know if symptoms worsen!
