A. sitting without support and crawling in children may sometimes come after one year of age also. if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry. just take care of regular diet and baby massage which will help in strengthening thxe muscles needed for sitting and crawling. in some cases crawling may be absent in children and directly the child will begin to stand with support and later walk with support and then without support. take a medical check up done to confirm if there is need of any intervention.

A. If your son is 14 months old and not crawling yet, here are some things you can consider and actions you can take: 1. **Encourage Tummy Time**: Tummy time helps strengthen the muscles needed for crawling. Ensure your son spends time on his stomach daily, supervised, to practice lifting his head, pushing up on his arms, and eventually crawling. 2. **Provide Motivation**: Place toys just out of his reach to encourage him to move and reach for them. This can help motivate him to start crawling. 3. **Create a Safe Environment**: Make sure your home is safe and free of hazards, allowing your son plenty of space to explore and practice crawling. 4. **Use Encouragement and Support**: Offer verbal encouragement and praise when your son shows interest in crawling or attempts to move. Provide gentle support or guidance as needed without doing it for him. 5. **Consult Your Pediatrician**: If your son continues to show delays in crawling or if you have other concerns about his development, discuss them with your pediatrician. They can assess his overall development and provide guidance or recommend further evaluation if necessary. 6. **Consider Developmental Stimulation**: Some babies benefit from activities that promote motor skills, such as rolling a ball back and forth or playing on hands and knees. These activities can encourage crawling readiness. Every child develops at their own pace, and while most babies start crawling between 6 to 10 months, some may take longer without necessarily indicating a problem. However, it's always good to stay informed and seek advice from healthcare professionals if you have concerns about your child's development.
