Q.
#asktheexpert my boy is 1 month 10 days old.he is suffering from congestion(nose blocked,noisy and rapid breathing).salne nasal drop given but no result.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. give nasal saline drops every few hourly to the child in the nasal cavity. try to prevent temperature variations around the child you can go for indirect steam inhalation dwhich will again help in decreasing both cough and cold continue the regular diet of the child if there is no improvement in few days then meet your doctor for fever and pain give paracetamol. anti-coldd medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.

Hi went through this to my child go to ped imideatliy don't neglected its called RSV common in 2years bellow if we neglected it will be dangers rapid breath is because of oxygen is not enough for baby my baby admitted 2days in NICU given oxygen supply for 1day
