my boy baby is 2 months old. he passes stools twice a day or more. but for the past two days he haven't passed stools but frequency of urination and color of urine is normal. he takes feed regularly and his sleep pattern is good. but while burping he vomited two times in the last two days. he passes flatulence normally. he is not even straining for passing stools . tried syrup gastrica and native treatment of castor oil with breast milk.. he is exclusively on breastfeeding.. as a RMP I have seen some babies pass stools 3-4 days once.. what know whether it's normal in my baby?

A. dear, it's normal. u need nit worry. because their bodies absorb most of the breast milk. going even a week without having a bowel movement is ok, feed properly n burp well after each feeding

A. There's no 'normal' when it comes to how often babies poo – breastfed babies will sometimes go several days, or even a week without having a poo (this is more common in babies aged 6 weeks or older). You'll quickly get used to your baby's bowel movements, so you'll be able to tell what's normal for them.
