Q.
#AskTheExpert my boy aged 6 months he is suffering from cold so he could not breath Normally..plz give any suggestion or any medicine.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergigc rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment achccordingly along with a proper hydration .

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. For newborns/infants, use saline drops to move the mucus to the front of the nose, making it easier to remove with an aspirator. Daily use of saline drops will help keep nasal passages clean and moisturized. Avoid putting cotton swabs, twisted tissues or your fingernail inside your baby's nose.
