Q.

#asktheexpert My baby will be 3 months old on 9 Apr but he is feeding very less. initially he used to wakeup for milk about 3-4 times at night but nowadays he is not taking feed properly and sleeping for more than 6 hours in a stretch. What should I do?

A. check for his weight gain if baby is active and achieving milestones then it's ok baby should double birth weight by 6 months if not then consult a Lactation Specialist if weight gain is less wake up the baby at nyt and feed 2-3 hourly

A. hello mom there should be minimum gap of two and a half hours and maximum gap of three hours between the two feeding during the daytime and during night time this gap can be extended to 5 or 6 hours as well if otherwise child is active and healthy and playful and having his feed properly on regular intervals and passing urine properly at least eight to ten times a day then there is nothing to worry about at all
