A. Keep feeding breast milk. Make sure that the baby empties one breast first before moving on to the next breast as the milk that comes towards the end, which is hind milk, is rich in fat and helps in healthy weight gain. Give brown rice and ragi. Give chickpeas and green peas. Give yoghurt made from whole cow's milk. You can also give fruit smoothies. Give one boiled egg yolk per day. Give lentils like moong Dal and urad dal. Add a little bit of ghee to your kid's meals. Give cheesy potatoes and sweet potatoes. Give bananas, avocados, pears, mangoes, pineapple and papaya.
