#AskTheExpert my baby was 3.3 kgs when he was born after 45 days he gained only 300grms ( 3.6 kg) after 2.5 months he is 4.7kg. is this weight gain normal.my dr told me maybe he is not getting enough milk and recomended to give top feed with breast milk.1or 2 times a day i will be short of milk and i give him top feed after introducing top feed he is no more crying and is getting enough sleep.is it ok to give top feed with breast milk?? Is his weight gain ok?? My dr told me because of my stress iam not able to produce enough milk with time i can replace top feed..

A. it can be at 6 mnth . A balanced diet containing of green leafy vegetable and fruit and good protein sources like paneer and egg or soyabeans . It is required for proper weight and height gain and also for boosting immunity and good skin and hairs . Protein powder like pediasure can be given to baby after 2 yr of age .
