my baby was born 3 months ago with 3.2 kgs. after 45 days she was 4.5 kgs, after 75 days she is only 4.7kg. she has gained only 200gms. she is very active and fine, but din gain wait. is there something to do with it

A. don't worry about it and is a baby is on exclusive breastfeeding then the mother should take high protein diet as it will improve the baby's weight indirectly. the target is by 5 months the baby should double the birth weight

A. If your baby's doctor thinks it's necessary, you may have to supplement your baby with additional feedings of either pumped breast milk or infant formula. You can also try to pump and separate your foremilk from your hindmilk. Hindmilk is higher in fat and calories, which can help your baby gain more weight.
