Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of couggh its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetahmol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

When is the temperature rises it is normally considered fever if it is 99°F plus then it is fever and other since you haven’t given any further details if you feel any issue is there and you are not able to understand it on your own and you should take an advice from you treating doctor onesWrite Your Answer Here
