#asktheexpert my baby shanaya is 2 .3 year old special need child . she is suffering from west syndrome a rare disease. so she face constipation always. her stomach became so tight daily. no constipation medicine work on her. or suppository also effect after very long period of apply.dr also couldn't do anything. plz suggest any home remedy

please do the following things:
first keep your child well hydrated.
offer liquid diet like soup , juice, coconut water , buttermilk etc.
you can offer fiber rich food like spinach soup, tomatoes soup, prune juice, fruit like pear papaya plum banana etc to your child.
give soaked balck raisins which will work as natural laxative
encourage your child to do more physical activities.
