Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. if there is some swelling in the eye it is very difficult to comment here without a proper examination so it is better to consult your doctor and gegt it properly physical examine and guidance accordingly for this matter to clear this...

meeta agarwalMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, In this case, the child does need antibiotic eye drops to fight the infection. Bring them to the doctor so that they can be given a prescription for an antibiotic. If your child's eyelids become very red or swollen, or if they develop blurred vision or eye pain, bring them to the doctor right away.
