Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby keeps rubbing his eyes with his hands. Is it an issue? Normally he would rub his eyes first and then try to eat his hands.

A. When babies get tired their eyes get dry and they start rubbing their tiery eyes. By rubbing they release the soreness and tension in and around their eyes and eye lids. Sometimes babies could rub their eyes if some irritants like dust or minute particles are caught in their eyes. Or if there is any eye infection which u can identify if there is any discharge or eyes have swollen or reddish or baby has a fever
