Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby is two weeks old. when I feed her for one hr she gets to sleep for half hr and again demand for feeding and it goes on like half hour nap half hr feeding.. this happens at night .. and I don't what to do because I don't have enough milk to feed every half hr . dr told two hours needed for the breast to get milk..

A. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the chilld will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping . there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits
