#AskTheExpert my baby is taking iron drops and she pooped green in colour ,is there any need to be concerned about?

Seema DubeyMom of a 3 yr 1 m old girl2 years agoA. same happened with my baby my doc suggested ,try not giving iron drops for a couple of days then notice the colour of poop,if it's normal then there's nothing to worry about. iron drops leads to discoloration of poop like other than yellow, black n green poop possible. continue breastfeeding,20-20 mins each side,make baby empty one breast before you switch to another.

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 8 m old boy2 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Green stools can also be due to foremilk intake. Continue to exclusively breastfeed until 6 months completion. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy. Consult your doctor for further advice
