#AskTheExpert my baby is taking iron drops and she pooped green in colour ,is there any need to be concerned about?

A. same happened with my baby my doc suggested ,try not giving iron drops for a couple of days then notice the colour of poop,if it's normal then there's nothing to worry about. iron drops leads to discoloration of poop like other than yellow, black n green poop possible. continue breastfeeding,20-20 mins each side,make baby empty one breast before you switch to another.

A. Hello dear parent! Green stools can also be due to foremilk intake. Continue to exclusively breastfeed until 6 months completion. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy. Consult your doctor for further advice
