POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. Max drops (usually a brand of cold medication) for a baby should be used according to the dosage instructions provided by the manufacturer or as prescribed by your pediatrician. Generally, you should:
1. **Follow Dosage Instructions:** Check the medication label or consult with your pediatrician for the correct dosage based on your baby’s age and weight.
2. **Frequency and Time Gap:** Typically, cold medications for babies are given every 4 to 6 hours. However, you should not exceed the maximum number of doses recommended in a 24-hour period.
3. **Consult a Doctor:** Always consult your pediatrician before administering any medication to your baby, especially if you are unsure about the dosage or if your baby has other health conditions.
If your baby’s cold symptoms persist or worsen, or if you have any concerns about the medication, it’s important to seek medical advice.
