Avoid overfeeding.
UMA SHASTRIMom of 2 children2 years agoA. I am facing the same issue with my 2.5 month old baby. Best solution is
1. Burp after feeding and while changing sides.
2. Check for proper latch if breastfeeding as babies tend to suck lot of air if latch isn't proper.
3. Give tummy time 2-3 times a day.
4. If exclusively breast feeding, please don't pump as pumping also creates lot of air bubbles and creates gas. (I had breastfed and pumped simultaneously and used to give BM with paladai and she had excess gas, lactation consultant asked to stop pumping and directly feed to reduce the problem)
5. Put hing paste as it works wonders
