#AskTheExpert My baby is one month old and her current weight is 3.5 kg, her birth weight is 3.2 kg is this normal please confirm

A. Dear mum, yes, your baby’s weight is normal, do not worry. Baby should double the birth weight by 6 months or earlier. For healthy weight gain, exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete.

A. hello yes it s normal.. you cannot expect much weight gain in the first month as the babies birth weight will first reduce and then the baby starts gaining and make sure the baby is getting sufficient breast milk if not then give baby infant formula milk stage 1 using a bpa free bottle like Babyhug
