A. If your 1-month-old baby has increasing rashes on her face for the past 3 days, it could be due to newborn acne, heat rash, or an allergic reaction. At this age, baby's skin is very sensitive, and rashes can appear due to hormonal changes, sweat, fabric irritation, or skincare products. What You Can Do: ✅ Keep the Skin Clean – Wash her face with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free baby cleanser once a day. ✅ Avoid Oils & Creams – Heavy lotions or oils can clog pores and worsen the rash. ✅ Use Soft Cotton Clothes – Avoid synthetic fabrics that may cause irritation. ✅ Apply Breast Milk – Dabbing a little breast milk on the rash can help soothe the skin. ✅ Maintain a Cool Environment – Overheating can worsen rashes, so keep the room temperature comfortable. When to See a Doctor: If the rash spreads rapidly or has pus or blisters. If baby has a fever or excessive discomfort. If the rash doesn’t improve in a week despite home care. Most newborn rashes clear up on their own in a few days, but if it worsens, a pediatrician can check for allergies or infections. Let me know if the rash has any specific pattern (red spots, dry patches, pus-filled, etc.) for better guidance!
