#AskTheExpert my baby is of 6 months why he everytime scratches his ears rather he scratches his ears to this much extend that he pull out blood for the ears

This doesn’t seem normal and it is better that you consultant specialist to find out if there is anything inside the ear like an impending tympanic membrane ruptured which might be causing difficulty for the childWrite Your Answer Here

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Generally when babies discover their ear they used to scratch it or play with it. Other possible reasons can be due to itching or wax built up in the ear. If none of these seem to be the reason there could be an ear infection and it's good to consult with your pediatrician once.
