#asktheexpert My baby is of 5 month, From last 1 week his right eye having slightly red on corner side of the eye. We have.consult eye specialist as per him it's die to some infection and he recommended CMC eye drop. We are using from last 2 days but no major improvement observed. Pls suggest, is anything here we have to worry or it is normal in babies

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. if the red spot in the eyes or redness comes again and again and is not improving on its own in next two or three days and the child is also having ccomplaints (watery and itchy eyes) then it is advisable to maintain hygiene of the eyes and meet your doctor for proper diagnosis cand treatment because it can be either due to allergy or infection
