#asktheexpert my baby is of 40 days at birth his weight was 2.80 kg but after 40 days his weight is 2.60 kg. doctor has recommended Simyl oil . may I know how to use this oil or any other ways to increase weight

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 8 m old boy2 years agoA. Always take Simyl MCT Oil as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Give 1-4 ml/kg daily in 3-4 divided doses to infants, 1-2 teaspoons (5-20 ml) daily to children, and 1-3 tablespoons daily to adults, or as directed by the doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
