Q.
#asktheexpert my baby is not talking properly. he says only a few words and talks in his own language which I can't understand because there are no clear words. He is 2 yr 4 months old. pls give some advice on what I should do or is this normal?

As baby is two years + age go for assessment with Speech therapist or Developmental Paediatrician if you observe no clear speech or delay on speech,talking sentences,not responding with speech ,not starting conversation ,not speaking atleast 80-100 words...
By two years babies can respond to their names,replies with words,can understand our commands and can reply one ,two words,shows things and name them.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy12 months agoA. Hello there ma’am, please do not worry about it too much. Babies start to speak small words like maa and paa by the age of two yaers and make small sentences by the age of three years.
So please wait for sometime before consulting a speech therapist. Please give eggs and chicken to the baby. Also give chicken soup to the baby. Please give banana shake and ragi porrige to the baby. Please give lots of green vegetables and dairy products and soaked almonds to the baby on daily basis. Please limit soda and juices and high fat foods like chips or biscuits or cakes etc.
