A. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations . For cold you can give syp allegra 2.5 ml twice daily to the child. try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful. Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day. Give warm wxater to drink If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor paracetamol for fever and pain.

A. Yes, ragi (finger millet) is generally safe and nutritious for babies, even when they have a cough and cold. It’s rich in calcium, iron, and other essential nutrients. Ensure the ragi is well-cooked and easily digestible. Avoid adding sugar or heavy spices. If your baby has any specific dietary restrictions or symptoms, it's best to consult your pediatrician.
