#asktheexpert my baby is having 25 days old.she is suffering for cold.pls suggest me some remdies

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a pcart of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

U Can give indirect steam in halation to the child that would be the last thing that you can do as a home remedy but apart from that for proper course of medication it would be important for you to consult your paediatrician was a doctor can advise you with the correct medicine
