#asktheexpert my baby is bitting lower lip a lot and elderly people are saying that it's a symptom of disease or it might lead to sickness.. can you help

A. it is nothing to worry further there could be variations in individuals which may be there and according to the problem a proper physical assessment and examination may be required which can be done accordingly for proper guidance

A. Lip biting and sucking are common behaviors in many infants. It's usually a self-soothing technique, although it can also be caused by teething and, occasionally, hunger. Although it can cause complications if it goes on for too long, most babies will grow out of it.
