Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. growth of the child can be ensured by fulfillment of proper nutritional requirement specially iron and vit D is required for better growth and cognition.you should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of micro and macronutrients essential for growth.
any kind of infection specially any chronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the growth otherwise.
after 2 years of age you can give some powder like kids pro/ prohance junior mixed with milk twice a day for one or two months but any health drink is not recommended before two yrs of age.u can add flavours also to milk. avoid givinhg too much of milk otherwise it may hamper the hunger of the baby and the baby may not be taking interest in having other variety of food .and opposite to that if the baby is not taking milk properly the dairy products will kbe a good substitute like curd, paneer n cheese etc.
Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Your baby is doing well. It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles its birth weight by 6 months completion and triples by one year completion. Give your baby 3 meals and water along with daily breastfeeding. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
