To help the child gain weight, include fat and protein rich foods in the diet like rice, potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, legumes, ghee, milkshakes with dry fruits, eggs, chicken, banana, avocado and 500-550 ml milk everyday. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks alongwith variety of fluids like water, fresh juic es, curd, buttermilk and coconut water.
