#AskTheExpert my baby is 9monthsold she is not gaining weight and her birth weight is 3.3kgs and now she is of 6.8 kgs what should I do?

A. Dear ma’am, have you started solids? What foods are you giving, how many times a day and how much quantity? Give her dal rice with mashed potato or sweet potato, Multigrain porridge with few drops of coconut oil, boiled egg etc

A. hi mom. weight of the child looks little less but nothing to worry regarding that just include healthy food in the daily diet for child. give the child with minimum three times a solid food daily and also include breast milk and water in the diet of the child. give nendran banana porridge and banana and avocado which will help the child to gain the weight and also include more amount of grains.

A. Hello dear parent, a baby should be 10 kgs ( 9 to 11 kgs) on his first birthday. So accordingly your baby is going absolutely well with weight according to his age. Just feed him well. But do not over feed. Keep,him well hydrated. Give him fruits in between. Good luck and take care
